The Money Camp for Kids is an innovative financial literacy program for kids (and their parents since they often learn a great deal about money while their kids are at camp). We use accelerated teaching techniques to make sure your child not only has a great experience while they are in Money Camp, but leave our program having been exposed to a tremendous number financial education concepts, principles and vocabulary. This program can set them up for life because chances are, they aren't learning how money works at school and it's just plain challenging to teach them at home.

Daily Money Camp Schedule:
- Camps typically run from 9:00-3:30 each day.
- We take several breaks and a lunchbreak.
- Wednesday is usually PIZZA DAY...Yeah! (depends on camp of course).
- Monday through Thursday we are in camp, Friday we generally take a field trip (optional).
- Camp is broken up with activities, games, speakers, interaction and projects.
The Money Camp for Kids uses an innovative day camp format to provide middle and high school age kids with the financial tools they need to choose and create financial independence.
Through fun-filled games, activities, group exercises and field trips, kids learn how money works. They learn that financial independence is their choice and their responsibility.
The following are some of the many topics kids learn at Money Camp:
- How our thoughts, beliefs and attitudes determine our wealth potential
- That money is simply a form of energy.
- How money circulates (basic economics).
- How to make/earn money (employee, self-employment, business owner, investor).
- How money multiplies (investing).
- The primary roads to financial independence (stock market, real estate, business).
- How money is managed (budgets).
- The wonderful ways money is used to support a family, the community and the world.

Camp for Kids from the Summer of 2002 with 39 kids! Since
then, we have taught close to 2,000 kids (and grownups)
how to think like and make decisions like, people who value financial freedom over 'stuff'. Our camps started out being on the Central
Coast of California and North Carolina but we have grown tremendously and are spreading all over the world!
Our
goal is to have Money Camps all over the United States by 2010!
The Money Camp is based on simple principles:

- You are the CEO of your own life.
- Pay yourself first.
- Save early, Save often.
- Put your money to work for you.
- What matters is not how much money you make, but how much you keep.
